Lateral flow test question

Ds just done first home testing kit
The liquid stuff , after dropping a couple drops on the testing strip there is still some left , should we have put it all on ?
Or do I just throw away the rest in the bag with the other rubbish ?

Sometimes there is a tiny bit left when i've done it but as long as the test works it's fine and i've thrown it. Once I didn't put enough on and the test didn't work.

Just 2 drops on the strip and throw the rest away.

You just need 2 drops. There's always some liquid left in the squeeze dropper after squeezeing out 2 drops on to test strip.
So yes, just throw that left over stuff away with the dropper.

Thought ds knew what he was doing as been shown but looks like its gone in one ear and out the other
