Tips for getting over COVID

Its Day 13 and I'm mostly breathless and dog tired. DH is Day 14 but a bit worse. We have a very bored 7yo who is growing impatient with our convalescence.

What are your top tips for getting back to full strength? Stuff to eat/avoid. Vitamins or supplements? Exercises?

We're not usually complimentary medicines types but will take any tips going. Currently taking vitamin d and a multivitamin.

Rest
Eat
Rest
Drink
Rest
Pace yourself
Then rest some more.

Having had covid at least twice, I can say that resting is key to recover. I've ignored this completely and am still ill a year later.

We've absolutely rested for the last 8 days. We didn't work, no limits to anyone's screen time, morning and afternoon and evening naps, early bedtimes, long lies, the house is filthy! But that can't continue.

I need to start work again as I'm self employed so no sick pay. We both WFH at desk jobs so that'll help.

I've been ill for a year now OP. I'm on steroids to try to heal my damaged lungs and I go to bed absolutely exhausted at 8 or 9pm every night and sleep for 11 hours 🤷‍♀️
