I had my first vaccine Tuesday. All fine then Thursday my arm started to ache a little but it's getting progressively worse. Not agony but very uncomfortable. Anyone else?

I don't know op but all sorts of strange things going on with it

Why is it provoking strange responses in people?

Hope your arm settles down.

What's in this vaccine!

Because when in recent times have millions of people been vaccinated at once. The flu jab has loads of side effects as do holiday jabs but they are not an interesting topic of conversation.

Yes, I had mine Tuesday too 🙂. Felt rough on Wed but arm only slightly sore. Then yesterday I was feeling generally better but my arm started getting more uncomfortable, and my armpit felt tender as well. It’s now a bit better but still sore. I sleep on my side and very glad it didn’t go in the side I lie on! DH was similar when he had his a couple of weeks ago.

I had quite strong muscle aches, around my shoulder, neck and the top of my arm, that came on a few days after the jab, almost like I'd been doing a lot of heavy lifting with just one arm! It's lasted about two weeks. I didn't get any other side effects luckily.

Had mine Wednesday, arm very sore that night and most of Thursday but much better today

I tend to get that with most jabs though so not concerned

I had mine Tuesday, felt nothing until Thursday night when arm started to ache and feel bruised like I'd done loads of weights or something with it. But better today, just feels a bit bruised if you touch it otherwise fine now. Was a bit surprised reaction took more than 48 hours but glad it only lasted a day . Apart from that feel absolutely fine. Husband had Pfizer and had zero side effects

Which, actually, we do get yearly comments on the flu jab. I understand your point, this is vast vast numbers.. But I've never ever heard of anything beyond a sore arm for flu jibs.

No real side effects. If I sat and concentrated on my body, I would say that my arm aches a bit, but I would have to concentrate on it. It’s nothing I would have noticed.

I had my az vaccine early last Saturday. I had no side effects at all until 2 days later when the injection site became red, swollen and very tender. It's like a particularly bad insect bite and was very itchy on some days. I googled and its a fairly common local reaction. It didn't feel painful to use my arm and I've been decorating the house all week. It's just started to look and feel better in the last 24 hours and expect it to be gone completely in a day or so.

Had jab two weeks ago and arm sore for five days, and the jab area still hurts if I press it. Also felt incredibly tired day after and didn't get my energy back for at least a week. It's good I think to react strongly as the body is building a good defence to the virus. I'm so glad grateful and happy we are all getting vaccinated in the UK!!! I have family and friends in Canada and Paris and they are still waiting.
