Had the AZ vaccine over the weekend (1st dose). It's 4am on Monday morning and I can't sleep. Over the weekend had fever, vomitting etc but know these side affects can happen.
The weirdest thing has happened though. I'm a recovered/ing alcoholic, sober a good few years (I wouldn't go on about length of sobriety but feel it's important that I haven't had alcohol in my system in a while).
Anyway, after getting the vaccine but before all the fever, chills, vomitting started, I felt really really drunk. My dp had to help me up as my legs were jelly and I started laughing at really random things.
There doesn't seem to be anything on whether this effect could happen for recovered alcoholics (Understandable I know) but I'm now awake at 4am feeling like I'm going through alcohol withdrawal all over again.
No idea why I'm typing but have given up on getting any more sleep tonight.
