Just wanted to share I had my second Pfizer vaccine yesterday and feel a bit hopeful for the future!
Painful arm but small price to pay.

Any one else had their second yet?

I’m so thankful to the Amazing volunteers at the vaccination centre. Such a well organised process.

I'm having my first one today but I am feeling incredibly grateful today for all the volunteers, healthcare workers and scientist who have made this possible! Thanks thank you all of you!

I'm getting my second Pfizer on the 6th. Can't wait. So pleased the rollout is going well!

Those of you who have had your second doses, what did the interval between the doses end up being? I had my first dose about 7 weeks ago, so I think I’ve got a few weeks to go.

Eight weeks and ten days. My only day off today and i so wanted a lie in but i woke up at the crack of dawn. I have a horrible taste in my mouth and my arm is killing me.

7 weeks for me, but only because I'm a healthcare worker and the health board I work in needed to use up several batch of pfizer jabs before they expired so they brought loads of staff second jab dates forward. Mine was initially booked for 12 weeks post the first vaccine.

I had my second Pfizer on Sunday.....mother's day. I guess it sort of made sense to me to give up this day!

It was rescheduled two weeks early, so i guess they are just ahead of where they anticipated.

No side effects aside from aching last time. This time aching all over again, mild headache and felt shivery for a couple of hours yesterday. Oh and tired, unbelievably tired like I could sleep standing up. But I don't feel ill.

I really do hope this is the way out. My DC need to be able to get back out there and get on with their lives now. I'm hoping to study for an MA, I keep putting it off, so I have decided that should life return to normal its now my priority Smile as is having fun, lots of it. My only investment in the future will be the MA, its made me realise that life is tenuous and sometimes very short and I have no intention of spending mine doing the job I've been doing for years, but I'm grateful that its my job that meant I could get jabbed so soon.
