Group 6 asthma.

Not complaining but been offered the vaccine today with mild asthma. I thought this wasn't a thing? I will defo go as I have to get it done eventually either way but feels a bit cheeky.

My cousin who also has asthma and is 38 has also been offered hers.

How old are you op?

I know several asthmatics including myself all had it. Gp said they were calling all asthmatics in with group 6.

It seems like some GPs are doing all asthmatics, but not all GPs. I use a preventative inhaler and haven’t been offered.

Don’t feel cheeky, you have been invited and everyone needs to be done at some point!

I’m pleased some are getting vaccinated, but they should have just included asthmatics in group 6 so it wasn’t such a lottery!

Asthmatic DH hasn't been invited. Still hopeful that they'll sneak him on the end of the GP list, but vaccinations might reach his age bracket anyway before then.
