Will it get worse?

Started with symptoms late Saturday night, tested Sunday morning and positive results through in the early hours.
So far the only symptoms I have are a high temperature, mild cough and a general feeling of being unwell.

DH has more symptoms such as loss of taste and sense of smell, temperature, bad cough, diarrhoea and nausea.
Although his symptoms started 48 hours before mine.

I'm really worried my symptoms will get worse as I'm looking after a very active toddler.
Is this it for me or could my symptoms get progressively worse?

Nobody here can tell you one way or the other. Like any illness it will affect people differently. There is no way to predict it.

Easier said than done I know but keep calm and remind yourself that there are some people who have the virus that have no symptoms at all so not everyone ends up really poorly.
I'd eat well, drink lots of fluids and try to get as much rest as possible (not easy with a toddler if I remember rightlyGrin).

DC is currently rioting with the dog.
As long as I keep up with the painkillers it's not too bad, I felt much worse with the flu.
Fingers crossed this is as bad as it get for me and I'm one of the lucky ones!

Not necessarily mine remained mild. My two teens barely had any symptoms. My DH was hospitalised for a few days. It is very random. Hope you all feel better soon.

How are you and your DH today? I'm feeling much better today, almost normal, until I start moving. DH says he isn't feeling better, but he does look a lot brighter today
