If it I is possible, do the viruses fight each other? Or do they work together?

Yes of course you can, they are two different viruses. You can catch anything at the same time as covid. You could have COVID & a cold. COVID & noro. Covid & chicken pox.

Virus are not intelligent. They cannot fight each other or work together. They are extremely simple, their entire existence is to invade our bodies and multiply in them. That’s it. Our immune system would probably have a pretty tough time if you caught both together!

Here’s a little snippet from a doctor on the bbc .. I think it’s a fair no brainier catching flu & covid could be quite deadly!

Yes, it’s one of the reasons why there was a campaign to ensure everyone took up their flu vaccines in the autumn.

I also remember that one of the first reported deaths in the pandemic was someone co-infected with covid and flu.

Yes, there were a few cases identified in March 2020. The people identified were very sick and most died (but obviously if you had both and were only mildly ill no one would know).

Yes and it’s much more dangerous if you do, which is why they pushed for everyone to have a flu jab last year.
