Vaccination booking now over 56

I realise some people over 56 have been able to book for a few days on the website but the website has now officially changed to over 56s can book. So if you are over 56 and can’t book through this link then you can call 119 and they should be able to book you in.

Wow, thank you OP. Have just booked in online through NHS site. Going back to school on Monday so happy to be getting the jab early next week 😁

Although the booking system is very easy to use I am having trouble booking it. It keeps stating to book the date even though I have very clearly specified 1110 am Friday 12th March.

I will call 119 instead.

@Manzanilla55. I booked yesterday. It was odd that you had to book venue, date, then time between and then actual time to arrive. Then you go on to book 2nd vaccine, which isn’t always the same venue as the first. Hope you get it sorted.

Hi Mindy the 119 lady was very helpful I have my 1st jab Fri 12th March at 1110am then the 2nd jab is 30th May (a Sunday) at the same time of day. Sorted! Am excited saido that I am lol. A friend is volunteering at the local arena as a marshall and he says he is really enjoying the party atmosphere (hope that doesnt seem tasteless to anybody reading this who has lost loved ones or suffering long covid).

I dont think its distasteful to say that. I can imagine it's a cheerful and relieved atmosphere at the vaccinations hubs. I cant wait for mine. But I'm in Scotland and we cant book online. It's great the system in England seems to be running so well.
