Ibuprofen or paracetamols.

Shieldingending · 03/03/2021 21:16

I was told paracetamol

Frozenintime · 03/03/2021 21:36

Sorry I meant on the arm. Some sort of pain reliever

Mine lasted 10 days. The pain at the injection site got worse before it got better! Hope your arm settles soon.

I'm thinking there must be some over the counter cream than can be applied to the arm for pain relief?

Mine's still sore from Sunday. Yesterday was the worst day. I couldn't lie on it. Today it's sore to the touch. I'm mostly trying to ignore it.

Paracetamol will help a lot more than numbing cream.

Gluestick80 · 03/03/2021 22:11

Paracetamol and ibuprofen will work just as well. You don’t have to actually put something directly into the site.

Inclinedtochatter · 03/03/2021 22:12

An over the counter hydrocortisone cream helped when my injection site was red hot and itchy.

oldegg123 · 03/03/2021 22:16

Ice pack/bag of frozen peas alongside some paracetamol should hopefully help Flowers

Try and get the arm moving and gently rubbing/massaging the site should help too
