NHS app question

Haffiana · 28/02/2021 11:56

My elderly relative received his 2nd Coronovirus jab last week. He has shown me the updated entry in his NHS app which lists all his prescriptions, and should also list the 2 vaccines.

The first is listed as 'Covid-19 mRNA Vaccine BNT162b2' which is correct for Pfizer which is what he had.

However the 2nd is listed as 'Courageous 30micrograms/0.3ml dose concentrate'.

Both dates listed are correct.

He has had no other prescriptions in the last year, and I cannot anyway find any drug that would be named 'Courageous'!

Clearly there has been a cock up! He said that the person giving the vaccine seemed lacking in confidence/training about recording the jab on the computer, and we have assumed that she selected the wrong item from a pull down menu, or she just typed something wrong.

Does anyone know how to get this corrected? Or who he could contact about this?

The Pfizer vaccine is also known as courageous.

It's not a 'cock up'. Courageous is the brand name for the Pfizer vaccine. It's right. The brand name for the AZ one is Talent

I was going to say the vaccinator was obviously making a personal comment on how well he tolerated the vaccine, but some less comical people got in there first with real information 🤣

Thanks for asking about that here, though, that's handy information to have, I would have wondered too if I'd seen that.

OK, I have googled this - Courageous was the name given whilst the vaccine was in trials?
