What about Pfizer vaccine experiences?

Myworldjusthim · 26/02/2021 10:27

Many threads on the side effects and time frame of symptoms for the Astra Zeneca Oxford vaccine, but nothing on the Pfizer one.
I’m due the Pfizer. My DH had it, he’s 42 and had zero side effects. My DS teacher had it she is in her 30s and also zero side effects.
Anyone else?

My grandparents had it - nothing side effects at all.

noname55 · 26/02/2021 10:29

*no side effects at all rather!

angel0071987 · 26/02/2021 10:29

Nothing. Just a sore arm

bababra · 26/02/2021 10:31

I was fine until the next day then a fever, chills, raging sore throat and aches all over, lasted 3 days. I am immunosuppressed though and wonder if that makes a difference.

justgivejack · 26/02/2021 10:34

I had it, just had an aching arm and felt a bit achey but felt fine after 24 hours. I'm in my 40'S

Foxtrotalpha · 26/02/2021 10:36

My Mum aged 85 had it no side effects. DH age 50 had it, a sore arm a few hours later which lasted a day or two and felt under the weather for a day or so. He has type 2 Diabetes.

Butwhhhyyyyyyy · 26/02/2021 10:37

I had it 3 weeks ago, sore arm for a couple of days and felt tired for a day but that's it, more relieved that I've had it.

dottiedaisee · 26/02/2021 10:40

I had it as well as all my colleagues...a few had high temperature and lethargy for a couple of days and painful arm . I definitely did feel as if I had been punched by a boxer , arm very heavy with reduced movement for about two weeks.

Vanillaradio · 26/02/2021 10:41

Df, dm and I all had this. Df- no side effects at all, me- slightly sore arm next day, dm- felt really achey a over and tired for a couple of days.

bungobango · 26/02/2021 10:43

I had Pfizer yesterday and I have sore arm and reduced appetite.

QueenStromba · 26/02/2021 10:49

Had it mid afternoon on Wednesday. Arm a bit sore by the evening and feeling feverish. Felt very tired and fluey yesterday. Still feeling very tired today with a sore arm. 38 with asthma, pituitary problems and chronic fatigue type symptoms (probably some sort of autoimmune/inflammatory disease).

My in laws are 69. FIL had no symptoms but did sleep about 12 hours that night which he does occasionally sometimes so not definitely related. MIL had nothing but a bit of a sore arm.

ILookAtTheFloor · 26/02/2021 10:50

Sore arm and that was it. I'm 33.

Kmx123 · 26/02/2021 11:04

29 sore arm for 48 hours

GinnieHempstock · 26/02/2021 11:07

I had my second dose this week
First dose, no side effects at all, not even a sore arm.
Second dose, fluey/ achy and very sweaty for 48 hours. I have still got a very sore arm, with enlarged lymph nodes in my armpit on that side.

Anecdotally, people seem to have more side effects with the first dose of AZ and with the second dose of Pfizer.

Whatever9999 · 26/02/2021 11:12

I developed a headache a couple of hours after, although that was more likely sensory overload.
My arm started aching that evening, next morning woke up feeling fine (except for a sore arm), did a really intense PT session at 9am, still felt fine. 10.30am I was hit by a wave of exhaustion, as in I just had to lay on the bed and sleep, also had some brain fog. 6hrs later I had slept it off and was absolutely fine.

Pyewackect · 26/02/2021 11:13

Felt like shit for 24 hours.

partyatthepalace · 26/02/2021 11:14

I had nothing. Very slightly sore upper arm for a day is all.

FreeAt50 · 26/02/2021 11:15

I had it about 6 weeks ago. Initially fine but around 8 hours later I was wiped out, slept on and off for 14 hours and woke with a massive headache and dead arm. Nausea crept in that day alongside the headache but I woke the next day feeling fine. It was bearable and warned of.

lydiarose · 26/02/2021 12:46

My husband had AZ and I had Pfizer. He had absolutely no side effects, in fact we could barely see where the needle had gone in. I had very slight tenderness around the needle site. I could still sleep on my arm, and by next morning, it had gone.

Goodmorninglights · 26/02/2021 12:51

My parents and I have all had the Pfizer, first dose. No side effects, just a sore arm for me.

RoundedTum · 26/02/2021 12:56

DP had his yesterday- feeling a bit fluey and under the weather but not too bad at all!

Grace58 · 26/02/2021 12:57

I had the Pfizer yesterday and feel almost hungover today - bit achey, bit groggy. Will gladly take it over covid!

uncomfortablydumb53 · 26/02/2021 12:57

I'm 56, had it Wednesday, sore arm and felt woozy for 24 hours, slept for 9 hours which is unheard of for me!
Back to normal today

0blio · 26/02/2021 13:01

Friend had Pfizer and felt awful the following day, banging headache, muscle pain and exhaustion.

I had AZ and didn't even have a sore arm.

Mintypylonsfryingsurplus · 26/02/2021 13:01

Had it yesterday morning felt woozy yesterday with bad headache. Today arm very sore like hit with cricket bat. Cant lift arm above shoulder without pain but other than that just a bit tired.
