Broken foot - support bubble?

I broke my foot a couple of days ago and it looks like I’ll be in a boot for the next few weeks. My husband has been off for a few days but is going back to work tomorrow. I’m really struggling with my mobility, the pain and looking after my 4 year old. Does anyone know if i can just have my mum round to give me a hand with things? I can only find info on pre-existing disabilities. Thanks.

I definitely would in your shoes (excuse the pun)

BitchIAmFromChicago · 22/02/2021 21:40

Just the one shoe at the minute 😂

I think she’d be defined as a carer - but that’s besides the point - you need help so do what you have to.

Yes because exceptions exist to provide medical care.

I also (but maybe wrong!) think there's something about bubbles for under 5's too.

But regardless of that I'd still do it - just means you are actually allowed Grin

Hope you feel better soon

Just do it , you can’t possibly manage !

Thanks everyone. It’s crazy how much you can overthink something that would never have even crossed my mind last year!
