What about masks?

Has anything been said about the continuous use of them? I can't find anything online and didn't hear anything. Are we to wear them indefinitely? Until June? What do you think?

I really hope they go with the other laws. I’m struggling wearing them. We can’t be normal while we have them.

I think after 21st June at the earliest it will be personal choice - unless private establishments choose to make them permanent as they have choice to serve who they like I think?

Nothing was mentioned apart from face, hands and space being continuous so I would imagine masks will stay, especially in winter months.

There's going to be a review of mask wearing, social distancing etc. before stage 4 (date for that given is from 21st June). So seems current rules on masks in place until then at least.

I've just read Vallance has said in the press conference he thinks it likely people will be wearing masks next winter. I feel I'll continue to wear mine to the supermarket and some other indoor venues through this year but would be happy for them to be optional for everyone once lockdown lifts.
