Vaccine query

I have my appointment tomorrow but I have a "sensitivity" to penicillin. I've not been prescribed penicillin since the incident 15 years ago. Should I opt for the Pfizer or AZ, assuming I have a choice on the day?

Neither are contraindicated unless you’ve had a reaction to that vaccine or one of the ingredients before. So, neither are an issue.
(FWIW, the way they test for penicillin sensitivity in childhood throws up a LOT of false positives - look it up.)

My husband is allergic to penicillin and he had the Pfizer with no issues .

I’m allergic to penicillin and had the Oxford vaccine with no issues, just common side effects that are listed in the vaccine leaflet.

A bit of a moot point, you won't be given an option! However as others said, you can have both with a penicillin sensitivity so you are good to go.
