Gestational Diabetes and Covid

On Jeremy Vine today they said that women who had GD during pregnancy are now being asked to shield. Has anyone here got a letter with this information? I haven't....

In summary it appears to be a combination of gestational diabetes and some other risk factor. No one is exactly sure how it works.

There is also speculation it is a mistake.
