Is this Covid home test kit void now?

I've received a home testing kit, but the vial you're meant to put the swab into was loosely open and I think some of the preservative liquid has leaked. There's maybe 2-3 drops of liquid in the tube now, hardly anything. Is that right or should there be more?

Way more than 2-3 drops.
Also, if vial is opened slightly it wont be sterile.
Sorry, you need to get another kit.

Thank you. I was assuming this. Gov site is saying there are no tests available today now though. Probably doesn't help if they're sending duff ones out and people are having to reorder!
