Your thoughts on returning to normality-ish: part 2

I asked this before but with the recent developments in vaccines and infection numbers I thought maybe some people have changed their minds (or not) so would be interesting to hear your latest views.

I realise this is purely speculative but what are people's thoughts on when we will be back to a semi-normal reality? Knowing what you know on vaccinations, when, according to you, can we expect the most simple of things to be back up and running again? I am referring to the simplest of things such as getting people back to their offices/places of work, having shops/gyms/entertainment venues permanently open, and the like?

I know we are a long way away from normal as we know it and that it may take several years to go back to it so I am not talking to getting back to total normality - ie no masks, no social distance, no restrictions.

I don't think there will be a "back to the office" 2019 style - most companies and employees seem to be looking to a move to 3/4 wfh days with 1/2 in office as needed.

I really hope they allow rule of 6 (or even better, 2 households) to meet outside. I would also love it if they followed Scotland and Wales and allowed under 11s to be exempt from numbers and social distancing.
Realistically I think next weeks announcement will be about schools, with other things to follow at a vague point in future and no mention of meeting with friends and family.

rumoured that hospitality and restaurants would not return until at least May or June. Rishi is going to postpone any tax rises/increase support so that employees and businesses can continue to be supported.

i am guessing we can't meet family any time soon either- if things are not open normally and we allow people to meet, that would just mean everyone would meet family and friends continuously for lack of anything better to do and that would just increase infections.
