Offered slightly shorter gap between vaccines?

I‘ve had my invitation to book my AZ booster, available dates start from 11 weeks and one day after my first one, so 78 days. The data from the research published in Feb says a 90 day gap gives great immunity (they say it rose on average from 76% to 82%).

So would you take the first possible date or calculate your own 90 days? It’s hardly a magic number right?!

At the moment I have leapt upon the first available date. Just wanted to hear what others with maybe more medical research knowledge than me think?

Personally, I would take the earliest date for the second one so there is leeway if you have to delay the second appointment eg if you have a cold.

That’s good thinking. See that’s the common sense stuff I like to hear because I never think of it myself!
