To the coast...

I’m really hoping it happens. It’s all that’s keeping me going, seeing the sea again. I know it sounds trivial and it probably won’t happen, but I’m sure like many others, I’m desperate for a change of scenery.

I'm about to book a Cornwall trip for second week of Easter. I've been nowhere for well over a year, can't wait.

If it doesn't go ahead then I guess I can move it. It's also not cheap £2k for 4 nights dinner bed and breakfast Shock

What happens if you have to cancel? I was just looking at a cottage for July but there doesn’t seem to be any information on Covid cancellations. Pushing insurance cover though.

You need ti check t and c very carefully. We have one we can cancel at 2 weeks notice (!) But other cottages on the site were 1 month/others I've seen are 2 months etc.

I know different nations have different rules, but they are mainly in sync, with slight variations.

In a statement yesterday, the Scottish Government suggested no-one book holidays, abroad or in the UK for Easter. Also suggested no holidays abroad in the summer but they hope UK holidays may go ahead.

That suggests the likelihood of travel restrictions / hospitality being open. I hope you get to see the sea soon
