Just checking. Dcs go with GP who is our childcare bubble.. They are a support bubble with sil.
The dcs can go to the sil house with GP? As gp and sil is classed as 1 household.

They have to go to sil tomorrow for something pretty urgent. But they have our 2 youngest dcs. There's no alternative other than getting someone else to have dcs but wouldnt be able to go to the same person that would be breaking the rules adding another 2 households.

The government advice says "You must avoid seeing members of your childcare and support bubbles at the same time."

No they can’t. You say pretty urgent, can they go round after your kids have gone?

ChocOrange1 · 17/02/2021 06:42

Not really supposed to but depends how urgent it is.
Do both grandparents need to go to SILs, or could one go and the other stay at home? Could the kids stay in the car or play in the garden while the pretty urgent thing happens?

Surely you or DH would just take the day off work as holiday or dependants leave if your SIL needs urgent help to let your parents attend to that.

I don't see the issue if it's urgent, just do it OP. It's not like you're leaving your DC with someone new.
