Has anyone read any up to date news on Moderna and how it fares with the variants?

Just out of curiosity really as I'm happy with whatever, but I'm trying to book my appointment at the moment, and that's what is on offer.

Is this in the UK?

Can't find the sources right now, but I think it fared pretty well on all of the variants known so far.

I'd be happy with it if I were offered it.

I wonder when it will arrive in the UK - they just say 'spring', which could mean anything from now til april

Every time I try to compare, the effectiveness numbers for Moderna & Pfizer are almost the same; they are the same technology as far as I can understand.

Thanks both, good to hear. I think the last I'd read, the Moderna wasn't as hot as Pfizer against the SA variant but the landscape changes so quickly over the course of a week or so it's hard to keep up.

Will be having it as soon as I can get lucky with the online booking system!
