Confused, please throw some light

Proper schools are shut but are forest schools allowed to run? I am guessing they are as they seem to be running/ open and are running throughout half term? My children aren’t attending but I know a lot of people who are sending theirs. I just want to know how they are allowed when the rest of the schools aren’t. Is it cause they are outside? But they are still mixing households etc? They are taking kids from reception and above so not early years.

I know a few that haven't been able to open for months

So are they allowed to be open?

If they are only open to children of critical workers and vulnerable children it seems they can be.

They are taking anyone and everyone

Probably shouldn't be, but tbh the list can pretty much include every child.

My friend's isn't.

My friend runs on and is open to key workers kids only

But outdoors is low risk anyway
