CEV Booking

Can anyone help? Should all CEV be able to book an appointment now? Or is it 70+ only? We’ve tried to book and we’re getting a “not eligible” message. I can’t work out if we’ve muddled up the message or there’s a problem. It’s for my husband and he’s been receiving the shielding letters since first lockdown. Thanks.

Can you give your fp a call and ask them? They should be able to advise

I'm CEV and got a letter to book online. It also says you can ring 119 to book, so you could try that.

All cev should be able to book. Contact your gp and they should hopefully get it sorted.

You don't want to be doing that if yours are anything like the ones down here. They go mental if you do that.

You should either get a letter a text or both, that says to go online and book it.

Yeah our GPs don’t answer the phone anymore. It’s a shame as before all of this they used to be excellent. We’ll put in a form online and hopefully we should get a call back sometime next week sometime. Just wanted to check I wasn’t misreading it. Thank you.

Is it because there isn't a big hub near you? Definitely try ringing 119

Tried 119 and they are saying because he hasn't had the letter yet they can't book him. So we're going to contact his GP with the online form and see what's going on.

Contacting your gp was the official guidance wasn’t it? Try booking online, 119 or GP. Our surgery are posting on Facebook every day asking people to contact them if they’ve been missed. What they don’t want is people not due yet to contact them.
