With barbers being shut, will ponytails and man buns become fashionable for boys?

They were fashionable before hand I think so the question is.... What's next ?

Rockbird · 12/02/2021 14:34

I don't know but my dad looks like a lost hippy from Woodstock at the moment Grin

Justin Trudeau's hair has been the source of much mirth and some objectification since it keeps getting longer.

Man bun? Nope.

Either mullets or very bad crew cuts probably!

I’m going to tackle DH and 3 x DSs hair tomorrow. Bought new clippers over a month ago but haven’t had the courage to use them yet! Watched a few YouTube vids too.

Wish me luck!

I've been clipper if DD's hair for years. Good comb action is the key.

Snowymcsnowsony · 12/02/2021 17:40

My 6 yo has had a mun since last summer!!

RedGoldAndGreene · 12/02/2021 17:55

I can use clippers when it's the same length all over but Ds is a teen who has is longer on top and short in the sides which is too hard for me.
He could currently style it like this but I think school would be HmmConfused

Mullets - of course ! It makes sense that might be the next evolution.

No one looks like Jason with a man bun.

DS has been tying his fringe up on top of his forehead like a unicorn. He's 11, hasn't hit teenaged vanity yet, purely functional as his fringe is now past his eyes and too flopping to be held up with any product.

DH has very thick, coarse hair which is growing outwards, it's like a helmet.

I've got a one length bob so while it's starting to look straggly (thin hair) it's still passable

They aren't fashionable for men nevermind boys.
