Has covid affected your menstrual cycle?!

So i tested positive for covid in mid January. Took just over 3 weeks to start feeling better. Symptoms all gone but my period has come a week early, its lighter than its ever been and so far been going on for 7 days with no sign of it stopped 🙁

Researched a bit and apparently covid can affect your menstrual cycle. Has anyone else experienced this? How long did you bleed for? How long were your periods messed up?

Any virus can, really. Mine was 10 days late last time I had proper flu. I'd see what next month is like and just assume it is due to covid if that's okay :).

I've seen menstrual cycle disruption mentioned since March 2020. As per PP, it's not unknown to have post-viral disruption.

There were about 3 previous threads on this last year - well, more about lockdown's effects on cycle rather than the virus, but I remember this coming up too. There were posters who wondered if the virus had affected them in this way.
