BMI over 40 Covid vaccinations

Hi all If you have a BMI of over 40 do make sure you GP knows and has it coded on their computer system so you get called for the Covid vaccine in group 6 and you don’t have to wait for your age group

I think some people will be put off doing this out of embarrassment but I hope not. People who are at greater risk of serious illness are in group 6 for a reason and they shouldn’t put off updating their medical records if they need too.

I went in to be weighed a couple of months ago for this very reason. I asked the lady who did it would me records be updated and she said yes.

I feel like I should ring the surgery to check its been flagged but they keep sending texts asking people not to contact them about the vaccinations.

They don't have an email address and the anxiety about it is getting to me a bit
