I had the Pfizer first jab on Monday. Yesterday I was a a bit woozy but it improved. However I developed pain in my shoulder, absolutely awful and worsening. Is this a recognised side effect of the vaccine?

Is this on the same side as the injection site? If so the muscle (deltoid) where your injection was given extends over the shoulder. Muscle aches are a common, and positive response to a vaccination.

Thank you. It was on the opposite side but has gradually improved. I did read that muscle pain was a common reaction so I am quite glad to have this sign of something happening.
