How long do you think the public majority (IRL) will put up with this for?

How long do you think public opinion and action will continue to support not seeing friends and family?
I’m asking based on your real life experiences (not mumsnet views)
I’m not after ‘I’m giving up my life for as long as it takes’ views here, or ‘I’m happy watching tv and hugging my yoga mat for years.
I’m asking for realistic views of 2021 and public opinion as the year goes on.

I said there weren't bodies in the street, but that they have been building temporary morgues www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/bodies-being-held-temporary-site-23295660

The more people listen, the bigger a chance of us all getting back to normal

There are a number of studies looking at whether Covid triggers different forms of diabetes. For example, a study from Imperial in the summer suggested that it was triggering type one diabetes onset. There was an article in Washington Post there are a number of mechanisms which could be causing it. Covid has also been seen to trigger autoimmune antibodies found in lupus, etc. It's obviously still a pretty new disease so a lot of the research is still ongoing, but I can guarantee that a child who has been exposed to covid is more likely to get type one diabetes than they are to get type two diabetes as a child (whatever anyone is feeding them).

I believe the very thought of Covid can trigger the irrational desire for lockdown in some individuals
