Is this unrealistic for March?

My DP lives 180 miles from me, we can’t form a bubble due to our job situations and he lives with a flatmate.
Anyway, we haven’t seen each other for over a month now, we do use FaceTime, but it’s not a substitute by any stretch of the imagination.

He has contacted an air b&b and they said they have provisionally booked end of March as an available date.
He’d be coming on his own and our plan is to meet outdoors and have a walk together, just be in each other’s company physically. He’s also be working from home, so bringing his laptop with his to access the WiFi.
How likely is this to go ahead? The person who owns the place obviously wants the money, but clearly I don’t want my DP to get stopped on the motorway and fined.

But this won’t be until end of March anyway.

Sounds completely realistic to me and the chance of him being stopped on the motorway is negligible (unless he drives at 100mph).

I think it sounds completely reasonable and I’d like to think by the end of March we’ll have that level of freedom at least!

Hope PPs are proven right: I have booked a UK cottage break for end of March for me, DH and DDog.
( Booked in more hopeful times).

Do you live alone? If you do I'd be having him stay over at your home not an air b&b its unrealistic to expect non cohabiting couples to physically distance for so long. You could both go to a non symptom test centre beforehand to make sure you are both negative if you have them nearby where you both live.

If it was first week Of April rather than end of March I would think it was realistic.
