The Boris bounce in the polls

On the week of the 100k official death toll, several polls show a 7 point swing to Boris's Tories the other day. Is this the vaccine bounce? The great work with these vaccines could be the saviour of the government.

Looking good for the government at the moment. Hopefully Boris can kick on again.

Perhaps his staged and planned grovel about the deaths did something to appease the public. This is what the government seems to care about most - making themselves look good.

Saint Boris will probably stick around just long enough to take all the credit for the vaccines; but as soon as lockdown legacies such as recession, unemployment, suicide, destroyed mental health start breaking through the government's barrier of "these things don't exist" spin, he'll be shuffling off into the sunset.

Sadly people have short memories. I expect it is the vaccine rollout. I hope people come to their senses, or better still the Conservative Party does and replaces him with a competent leader who is willing to do the job full-time and keep it in their trousers.
