Vaccine when you’re ill

How long after being unwell do you need to wait before you can have the vaccine. Tested negative last week but have continued to have a mild fever (38) ever since. It was down to 37 this morning but creeping up again to 37.8 this evening. Due to book my vaccine but wondering if you are meant to hold off for a certain amount of time after an illness and how long I should wait? Don’t fancy any vaccine side effects on top of whatever bug this is.

I would definitely hold off booking until your high temperature has gone away. Have you considered re testing just in case, or at least do the 10 isolation period and then have vaccine 7 days after that. I believe that’s what being recommended for those that have tested positive before having vaccine.
