Vaccinating Children in the US?

www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/jan/29/us-children-covid-vaccination-fauci

So the US is aiming to vaccinate children? Why is the US allowed to vaccinate their whole population whilst other countries haven’t even gotten round to their most vulnerable, elderly etc? Of course, it is great news for ECV children worldwide though, if the vaccines are tested. So the US has the pharma and the vaccines and Trump fell out with the WHO. What is Biden going to do? Is he going to go ahead and vaccinate the whole population because he has the pharma and can or is he going to try and make sure poorer countries are given some help. I admit I am totally ignorant so it is a question.

Good i think they need to. Personally the thought of kids with long covid is awful. (And aside from.anything else very expensive too

Who needs to give them permission OP? Confused Israel is also vaccinating children / teens as well.

@Orangeblossom1977- it is WHO rhetoric I am referring to by permission. It isn’t permission as such. It is their pleas to the richer nations who are ahead in their vaccinations.

OK yes. They don't give permission though, just advise I think. It did seem odd the Guardian article focusing on the UK when other countries are vaccinating healthy young people
