She did an amazing job. But she isn't the first person to do an amazing job. If that was all you need to become a dame then I think it's too easy.

I'm not sure - she chairs the JVCI which clearly did a good job but not sure how she is personally responsible for the Board making the right decisions.
I'd prefer to reward the actual scientists personally.

I think she’s done a great job and was well paid for it - which I have no issue with where deserved.

If anyone is getting honours it should be the scientists.

I know someone very closely involved in the vaccine process who basically thinks she’s taking credit for others work and has added very little value.

You are wrong when you said she was well paid for doing what she did for the Govt. it was an unpaid voluntary role and she took leave from her day job to do it
