Bumped into a mum in the park today. We both have primary aged kids. I also have a toddler and work full time. She has a baby 6months old. She is therefore off on mat leave, and she is also eligible for a support bubble so her parents come down to help every week for 5 days. She complained to me about how the schoolwork set was "too easy" and she was so worried that the intelligence of her precious little girl wont be recognised because of "all the parents who are not bothering to actually do the schoolwork"
I am so non confrontational in person so I didnt say a word but oh my god how are some people so ignorant?! Not only does she not work, but she also has 2 other adults who dont work in the house most of the week! Talk about having no idea what real life is like for most of us.
