Vaccine email

I've just booked my Dad in for his first vaccine after checking the NHS booking link as posted by a poster in a different thread.

It says I'll get a booking confirmation email with a reference number but it hasn't come through immediately like I thought. Can anyone who has used the booking service tell me how long it took for their email to come through? I'm worrying I've done something wrong

I booked one this way for my dad and did not receive a booking number or confirmation email. He has decided not to go to the venue I booked now and I have tried to cancel but it won't let me cancel without his NHS number yet it did not need his NHS number to book it. All seems a bit odd.

Sorry I should say we did get a reference number when we had completed the booking, the reference number came up on the screen but we didn't receive a confirmation email nor did my dad receive any kind of text or anything confirming it.

Oh no! I've gone back in to see if I can retrieve the details but it's just asking for the booking reference. 😩
