Just that really. I woke up and saw I'd had the text during the night to say I'm Coronavirus positive.

DH is a key worker and tested positive last week after contracting it through his work. He's on day 10 now and still feeling pretty rough rather than getting any better.

I'm not surprised my result is positive. I've had a sore throat and a slight temperature. I just feel numb and worried about my kids. They both tested negative but I'm sure they have probably caught it from me now as I'm the one whose been looking after them while DH has been ill.

How did our lives get turned so upside down and plunged into this nightmare. I'm just so sad.

I’ve been there, it does suck.
Fingers crossed it will pass uneventfully.
Meantime, start resting :)

Thank you.

No one else in the house is awake yet. I'm just lying on the sofa bed downstairs crying.

Ahh, I hope you're ok. Although we're all too aware of the awful impact it can have on some people the vast majority are fine. Many very mild. Plenty of fluids, paracetamol and as much rest as you can. How old are your children? Keep us updated and I hope you and your husband are ok Thanks

Our children are 10 and 12. I'm hoping that if they get it they are still young enough for it to be very mild.

Hi, just wanted to say both myself and my DH had it and none of my children caught it. Also friends who have had it have not spread it to their DC either. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Don't go worst case scenario, you are 10 days + into the virus being in your house and only 1/4 of you are ill. That's good news.

I tested positive at the beginning of January (front line worker) I was scared of passing it on to my husband and 2 daughters (one of whom is shielding) luckily my husband and shielding daughter didn’t contract it from me but my other daughter did (she got it mildly)

I tested positive last week after losing my sense of smell, luckily so far it has been mild. My anxiety about it is through the roof though, I keep waking every day wondering if I'm going to feel worse. I was so shocked when the test was positive! It's nearly been 10 days for our household now. Try and have Plenty of rest, healthy food and lots of Water. My son who's 1 is fine but my daughter age 6 had been saying her throat was sore last week before I tested positive and she has a slight cough.
