Does anyone know what sort of financial support there is if you had to take time off work to care for children/had covid.

I mean, I could probably manage two weeks without pay, but definitely couldn't do a month, so what would people do if say, they had to spend 10 days at home because their child's school bubble burst, and then started developing symptoms on day 10?
That would be almost a month out of work?
I have seen that many local authorities are giving one off £500 payments, but what if you don't qualify?

Fwiw I'm not in this position, just curious.
