I have a big birthday coming up in a few weeks and would like to just do something a bit different than every other day in lockdown!
Been feeling really crappy the last few weeks about how monotonous every day is and it's not helped by the fact I should have been flying out to Vegas with my hubby (first child free holiday!)in a couple of weeks to celebrate.
I know everybody is in the same position and people have missed out on much more than birthdays but I just want something little to look forward to and would appreciate suggestions.
The crazier the better!

Online poker? With a group of friends?

I’ve had a few people I know with big birthdays. They’ve still had balloons, champagne & cake. One we were allowed (at the time) to pop over in the garden but I know not an option now. Can you meet a close friend/family member for a walk somewhere close by? Not the same but still something. Takeaway in the evening?

I am in the same situation. Dh turns forty and apart from usual party decorations/food/Prosecco we haven't planned anything. Dc have bigger than usual birthday presents for dh.

Oh yeh I didn't think of that. I like the idea of balloons and cake and things too. I'm going to have to start dropping hints to my dh Grin
