Testing when self isolating-help!

I cannot find the answer to my question anywhere!

I’ve got covid so we are all self isolating. If anyone else shows symptoms, we would order a home test but how do you post these back if you can’t leave the house?! I did a drive through for my test so I don’t know how the home one works! I know that that person would have to restart isolation from the day symptoms started.

Thanks!

One of the conditions for being allowed to leave the house is to get tested for COVID or access medical care so you would be allowed out to post a kit back, IMO.

When I did a postal test it said you are allowed to go to the postbox, straight there, straight back. I picked one I could park by and wore a mask for the 7 seconds I was out of the car to drop it in.

Mask on and avoid other people while using the postbox, its how anyone using home kits does it.
If you have access to a car and are well enough it would be better to drive the others to get their test done imo.

That’s so helpful, thank you!

I had a colleague come by and I chucked it out the window for them 🤭
The pics are from the booklet I got with my home test kit.
