I know, selfish people.

I try and post some #opentheschools tweets to balance it out.

Twitter is full of young people who probably don't have children.

Oh, yes. Open them up. Open them up RIGHT NOW. Throw them all back in together, perhaps squeeze in a few extras. Keep the windows shut, because it’s cold and make sure they absolutely don’t wear masks because this will damage them psychologically for life. Make sure those lazy, cowardly teachers are doing lots and lots of one to one catch up sessions in tiny, unventilated rooms. Pack those kids into school buses. Let them clamber all all over each other and spit at the feckless bloody teachers. There isn’t really a potentially fatal virus circulating and even if there was, so bloody what? Send them back in, so we can all go back to not having to bother with them. If they catch it, they won’t be ill, and the teachers bloody deserve to catch it, don’t they, with their bossy teacher ways and constant moaning about wanting to work in a safe environment. Who cares if the kids pass it on, it’s just flu, after all.

Twats.

Most people think schools should stay closed, so Twitter will reflect that.

This is what I meant to say. Grin
