Any idea when schools announcement might happen?

It feels like the issue of schools reopening is being reported everywhere right now with no clear position from the government.

Personally I find the uncertainty the hardest part.

Does anyone know when we might get a proper announcement? I know nobody has a crystal ball, but just based on how it has gone in the past, and how long it usually takes them to say something official once things appear in the press?

It's not going to be yet, the government has been clear that it's too early to reopen and they can't say when. The good news is vaccination is happening at pace but until all the over 65's and those with underlying health conditions have had one dose and waited 2 weeks I doubt that they will consider partial reopening - then expect it to be under 8's plus years 11&13.
