Matched key count?

Can anyone explain this please?
I've had the number 1 once before on one occasion a couple of months ago when the app analysed the exposure and decided I didn't need to isolate. My matched key count then went back to zero.
Now I've had 1 matched key count at every single exposure check since 17th Jan?
My husband still has zero.
Anyone know what this means?

Does it not mean that your phone has been in contact (Bluetooth) with a phone whose owner has input a positive test but the contact has not been close enough for long enough to count as a close contact.

I feel like I have just read a coded message. I have no idea what you are talking about!

dementedpixie · 24/01/2021 16:05

Yeah that makes sense.Thanks!

Last time I was in contact with a positive person the app just showed the number 1 on one single occasion when the app checked out the exposure.
Now it's been a number one solid for 7 days?

Is it a rolling count over a certain amount of days ?

dementedpixie · 24/01/2021 16:14

Mine is the Scottish one so it gives the number over the last 14 days not on each specific day

Cheator · 24/01/2021 16:21

I have had 2 or 3 most days lately. I have been to the supermarket occasionally but certainly not anything like every day so I am assuming it must be some kind of rolling system.

Just odd that except from work my husband comes everywhere with me and he has 0 matched keys.
Perhaps it's at work.

Well it is likely to be someone you were close to for a fleeting amount of time. Perhaps someone you walked past on the way to work.
