Support Bubble Rules - Travel

Looking for a bit of advice. My DH's friend has had some bad news and he isn't going to know the outcome for some time. He isn't always that stable mentally so needs support, if the worst happens how he will cope is an enormous worry for my DH. No other close family or friends who could help him with this situation. Wondering if he could either travel to join us in our house to form a support bubble or if my DH could form a support bubble with him. We live in South London, he lives on the South Coast. Any advice would be appreciated.

If the friend is single and not already in a bubble then he can form one with you. Travel to and from bubble linked households is and always had been allowed. Go ahead.

Thank you. I presume it is ok for my DH to alternate staying there with him staying with us.

Yes. Travel between bubble linked households is not limited.
