Moving UK Easter holiday to October?

I think realistically our Easter holiday isnt going to happen. It's just a cheap break and fully covered for covid refunds.

We have a UK holiday booked for June too. Slightly more expensive, again fully covid covered.

I'm toying with booking for the first week in August and October half term now just so that if I cover most of the year surely one will go ahead? Book now while there is availability and 30% off?

The risk is that they all go ahead, but booking each is just budget accommodation as I have used them before. They have refunded for covid so it's safe.

I think I would rather spend out on four holidays hoping one will go ahead than have none. Of course waiting and booking would be more sensible, but then prices will go up or they might sell out. Its self catering so our costs except for the accommodation could be minimal.

I’m fairly sure domestic summer holidays will be fine. Not so sure about international ones if the vaccine gets it low in the UK quicker than other places. June and Aug I’d expect to happen. October I’d see as more risky.

We have a UK holiday booked for July where I’ve paid £300 deposit. The same company is now offering deposits of £25. I think if and when we can take uk holidays the prices will go up dramatically as I cannot see overseas holidays happening as soon.
