Hi, we are struggling with the guidance as doesn't seem clear. Can a relative stay with another to attend a funeral?

I don’t know whether it’s allowed by law but my mum passed away last week and my eldest dc is coming to stay here for the funeral.

That's pretty much the situation my daughter and her partner are in. They have decided that they will stay with her partner's parents and attend her partner's grandad's funeral. Thank you for your reply. Sorry for your loss. Flowers

No it’s not allowed but I’d do it anyway (as long as no one is vulnerable or working in a risky job).
