Not sure if I'm allowed a support bubble?

Sorry, one of these threads again.

So my understanding was that you can have a support bubble if you live alone (which I now do.) However, I'm not in a one-bed flat - I'm in what was previously a shared flat, but due to circumstances, will be living here alone for the next 3-6 months.

I thought this was allowed, but a while ago I saw someone on here saying it's not due to the nature of the property. Confused

Can anyone clarify?

I would say that if you are living alone now you can form a support bubble but when someone else moves into your property then you can’t be in that bubble any more.

If there's no one else in the flat ...you live alone.

It’s got nothing to do with the type of property you live in, only how many people you live with. You’re fine to have a support bubble until someone else moves into your place.

Yes you def can x

NannyR · 23/01/2021 09:47

Definitely allowed - at the moment you are a single person household, regardless of the building you live in.

Type of flat doesn’t matter. If you live alone, so there’s no one else in the shared flat, then you can have a support bubble.

You could live in a 20 bedroom mansion, as long as you're on your own in there you can have a support bubble.

Wow, I know we get a lot of shit spouted on MN but that's a good one. Nature of the property!

I have a spare bedroom- and a support bubble.
You are allowed.

MIL lives in a 3 bedroom house but lives alone so in our support bubble, it is definitely allowed.

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the seemingly stupid question. The thread where someone said it just threw me a bit Shock Thanks for clarifying.
