Anyone else in a long distance relationship?

And unable to see their partner?

He lives 180 miles from me. We can’t form a bubble as he has a flatmate and I live with my mum, due to my financial situation.

We can’t even meet for a walk outside due to the distance of course.

We just see each other on FaceTime.

We have no idea when we’ll see each other again, now I read today about lockdown possibly continuing until the summer. We miss each other so much.

If one of you is wfh, you could move in together? I don’t think it will be summer until restrictions lift. Equally I don’t know any couples that aren’t seeing each other this time around...

DH lives in Asia. It’s tough. You can get through this - lockdown will lift eventually.

At least you’re in the same time zone!

I am in a long distance relationship, it's heartbreaking tbh. I live in Wales and he lives in the south of England. I haven't seen him since just before Christmas. We weren't together during the first lock down last March, just online friends so I hadn't met him then. I Iive with my parents and he lives with his mum and siblings. I don't know what to do, I want to go to see him but I'm worried about being stopped by police.

I would just meet up regardless. It seems unlikely that you would be stopped by police (unless he or you live in Derbyshire or Devon/Cornwall in which case you might just have to lie and say you're in a support bubble).

But even if you were fined, I'd pay £200 to see my partner! I see you said your financial situation isn't great so maybe he could come to you if you are too scared?
