Periods after covid

Anyone's periods been different after having corona?
Mine are heavy ish anyway but this month I have had big clots literally falling out ( sorry tmi!)
Not worried as I'm not in pain just usual period pain but it's so bizarre I heard it can effect periods but thought it was just rumour. Anyone else had anything different? X

My first period after covid was a few weeks late, then I had 2 periods within a month. I still don't know what's going on with my previously regular periods.

Not sure. My child was very ill at start of last yr. But not tested for covid. But my periods last yr were shorter between normally 30 days but down to 23 between periods and so so heavy and loads of clots. Last 2 of yr were more my normal so interesting

I had untested and so unproven but very typical covid last March.

Recovered fully in may. Then started bleeding in June and it was everyday for months. Got heavier and heavier despite me being on mini pill because they'd previously been heavy.

Ended up with coil and taking northisterone frequently. Huge bleed in October and lost coil and been on northisterone ever since. Coil refitted 2 weeks ago and I'm now down to 1 northisterone a day and will stop in 2 weeks.

Cannot say if it's related because I had been heavy before and had already sought gp advice but it certainly went from heavy to uncontrollable. And rather than monthly to every day.

So if started bleeding again on cycle day 12! First thought was ovulation but getting period type pain now.
My sister had covid last year and this happened to her, anyone else had this? How long did it last for you? It's ridiculous
