Tooth ache and temp...

Am I being flippant to think if you have something going on that is most certainly the cause of a temp.. for example infected wisdom tooth you wouldn't go for a test for Covid?

My wisdom teeth were sore a day before my positive result for Covid. my only other symptom was some loss of taste and a bit of a cold. The person I spoke to from track & trace said to look out for the children getting sore mouths so yes YAB
